What's for Dinner?

00:00 / 01:14

Vicki’s favorite moment of each day was when she walked through the front door after a long day at school. First, she was happy to be home, but, more importantly she was excited to find out what was happening in the kitchen. Because in her the family the kitchen was the most important room of the house.

Every day, her father and mother would prepare dinner for the whole family. And every day, the family would play the same silly joke. Vicki would run into the kitchen and shout, “MOM, DAD, what’s for dinner?”

“Well, tonight I think we are going to have dinosaur eggs.” Her mother would say, with a laugh.

“With a side of penguin tail.” Her father would chime in.

“Oh you guys are being silly! Can we just eat normal food tonight?” Vicki would ask.

The whole family would laugh and then prepare dinner.
