To eat the red apple or not to eat the red apple?   This was the question that was bothering Bartholomew the worm.

 

到底吃不吃这个红苹果呢？  一只叫Bartholomew 的虫子很是为这个问题烦恼。

 

“I’m very hungry right now, so if I eat the red apple I won’t be hungry anymore,” Bartholomew said to himself.

 

“我现在好饿，如果吃了这个红苹果就不会饿了。”  Bartholomew 自言自语道。

 

“However, if I eat the red apple now,  tomorrow I won’t have any food. Hmmm, this is a very hard question.” Bartholomew pondered aloud.

 

“但是呢，如果现在吃了这个苹果，明天可就没有吃的了呢。嗯...这可真是个很难的问题啊。”  Bartholomew 陷入沉思。

 

He couldn’t make a decision about this apple question. He spent so much time worrying and wondering what to do, he didn’t notice all the other worms who came and ate the apple. By the time he made a decision all the other worms had eaten up his apple.

 

他为这个问题迟迟下不了决定。他担心啊，思考啊，没有注意到其他的虫子跑来偷吃苹果。等他做下决定，其他的虫子已经把苹果吃完啦！

 

Bartholomew promised that next time he wouldn’t be so indecisive.

 

Bartholomew 暗地里下了决心，以后再也不要这么犹豫不决了。
