It was her first time at the stable and it was already Rachel’s favorite place. Today was the day Rachel would learn to ride a horse. Her riding instructor, Samuel, introduced her to the horse she would be riding.

 

Rachel 第一次到马厩时，就已经非常喜欢这个地方了。今天，Rachel要学习如何骑马。她的骑马师傅Samuel 给她介绍了她要骑的那匹马。

 

The horse’s name was Little Tornado and she was beautiful. Rachel was so excited she didn’t even wait for the instructor to tell her what to do. She jumped in the saddle and away she went!

 

这匹马儿名字叫“小旋风”，长得十分俊美。Rachel 太兴奋了，以致于根本听不进去师傅怎么说。她跳上马鞍出发了！

 

Little Tornado was going so fast Rachel couldn’t keep control. She fell out of the saddle and hit the ground. Samuel the riding instructor rushed over to her and asked, “Are you OK?”

 

小旋风跑得飞快， Rachel差点要失控。她掉下马背，摔到地上。Samuel师傅急忙赶过来问，“你还好吗？”

 

Rachel dusted herself off and got back in the saddle, “It’s like my mama always says, if at first, you don't succeed, try, try, again. Yeeehaw! Little Tornado! Let’s have some fun!”

 

Rachel拍拍身上的灰尘，再次跳上马背。“我妈妈总是说，如果第一次没有成功，那就再来，再来。 驾！小旋风，带我去玩吧！”
