Jack was nervous because today was his first visit to the dentist. He didn’t know what to expect. His mother had told him, “Don't be afraid. It’s just a simple cleaning and checking up.”

 

今天是Jack第一去看牙医，他有点紧张，压根不知道会发生什么。妈妈告诉他说：“别害怕，只是一点简单的清洁和检查。”

 

That only made Jack more nervous, “Clean what? I brush my teeth every day. Am I doing it wrong?” Jack asked himself.

 

这让Jack更紧张了。“清洁什么啊？我每天都刷牙呢。我做错什么了吗？”Jack问自己。

 

The big moment arrived, Jack went into the dentist’s office and sat in the dentist’s chair.Just then, the dentist walked through the door.

 

那一刻还是来临了。Jack 走进牙医室，坐在牙医的椅子上，牙医就走进来了。

 

“Let’s look at those pearly whites.” Said the dentist.

 

“让我看看你的白白的牙齿吧！”牙医说。

 

Jack opened his mouth and the dentist took a look.

 

Jack张开嘴巴，牙医做了检查。

 

“Wowzer! You've done a great job brushing your teeth. Keep up the good work.” Exclaimed the dentist.

 

"嗯呐！不错呀，你刷牙刷得很好！要继续努力哦！"牙医说道。

 

 Jack was no longer nervous about going to the dentist. In fact, he was very proud of how well he cleaned his teeth.

 

Jack不再害怕看牙医了。实际上，他还挺自豪的，因为牙医说他刷牙刷得干净！
