Once upon a time, there was an old king named Xavier and he wanted to live forever. Every day he would search the countryside, looking for someone to grant him his wish. Until one day, he met a witch named Bathilda.

 

从前，有一个年迈的国王 Xavier，他想长生不老。每天他都在乡下寻找那个可以帮他实现愿望的人。然后，他遇到了女巫。女巫名叫Bathild。

 

“Hello dearie, you look like you could use some magic.”

 

“您好啊，我亲爱的国王，您看起来需要点魔法。”

 

“That’s right, I want to live forever so I can rule my kingdom until the end of time,” said Xavier.

 

“对啊！我想一直活下去，我要统治我的王国，直到世界末日。”Xavier答道。

 

“Of course, dearie, all you have to do is drink this, muahahaha.”

 

“当然了，亲爱的国王，您只需要喝了这个，么哈哈哈哈。”

 

The witch Bathilda handed the king a potion. King Xavier grabbed the potion and drank it in one gulp!  

 

女巫递给国王一种液体。国王抓过来一饮而尽。

 

“Ha ha ha ha!That feels fanast---…”  Within seconds the king turned into a stone statue.

 

“哈哈哈，我感觉妙极了....” 只见几秒钟的功夫，国王变成了一尊石像。

 

“Now you get to live forever. Your wish is granted, Muhahaha.”

 

“现在，你可以长生不老了，你的愿望实现了，么哈哈哈”

 

The witch Bathilda had the last laugh.  

 

女巫终于得逞了。
