One night after his mother tucked him into bed and he was just about to fall asleep, Walter heard a sound coming from under his bed!

 

有一天晚上，妈妈帮Walter盖好被子，Walter很快就要睡着了。这时，Walter听到床底下传来一种声音。

 

“Hello? Heeelllllooooo? Is there something under my bed?” Walter asked. There was no reply and the sound was gone. Walter guessed he just imagined the sound he tried to go to sleep. But, when he was about to fall asleep the sound came back!

 

“有人吗？谁在我床底下啊？” Walter问道。没有人回应，那个声音还在。Walter以为他听错了，就努力继续睡觉。但是，就在他快要进入梦乡时，那个声音又来了。

 

“If there’s a monster under my bed, I’m not scared of you,” Walter said.

 

“床底下的怪物，我不怕你哦。” Walter 说。

 

 The room was quiet again Walter tried to go to sleep and again the sound came back. Bravely Walter jumped out of his bed then looked under his bed. There it was the monster… fast asleep snoring loudly.

 

房间再次恢复了安静。Walter就快睡着了，但是那个声音又一次回来了。Walter跳下床，勇敢地朝床底下看去，那里果然有一个怪物，睡得正香呢，还打着大大的鼾。
