People from all over the nation of Thimbowlin visited the small village of Nanahut. The village was well known across the land for its elegant architecture. The bridges, fountains and gardens scattered around the village were famous. The main attraction, though, was the great clock tower in the village square.   

   

The clock tower of Nanahut was over 400 years old. It had never once broken down or stopped ticking. What's more, for 400 years, every single day, at noon the clock would chime.

全国各地的人都到访了一个叫南山的小村庄。这个村庄以优美的建筑闻名于世。村庄周围的桥梁、喷泉和花园都很有名。不过，最吸引人的还是村子广场上的大钟楼。

 

南山村的钟塔有400多年历史了。它从来没有停止过滴答作响。在400多年的时间里，每天的正午，钟都会响起来。
