Alex wanted a crocodile as a pet. His dad said, “Are you crazy? That’s too dangerous, it will gobble you up!”    Alex whined, “Dad, I want a crocodile.”

His dad said, “How about a cat or a dog or even a lizard? But not a crocodile, it’s too dangerous it will gobble you up."

​

This time Alex kicked and screamed, “DAD, I only want a crocodile and I’ll never be happy until I get one!”  Because his dad loved him very much, he bought him a crocodile.

​

And he said, “Son, be careful. Don't let it gobble you up.”  Alex didn’t listen to his father.  When he saw his pet crocodile he ran right over to it and gave it a great big hug.  Wouldn’t you know it, the crocodile gobbled him up in one big bite. 

NOM NOM NOM NOM!!!!

Alex’s gift was just too dangerous!

亚历克斯想养一只鳄鱼当宠物。爸爸说。“你疯了吗？那太危险了，鳄鱼会把你吃了的！”

 亚历克斯撒娇说：“爸爸，我想要一只鳄鱼。”

​

爸爸说：“我给你买一只小猫、小狗，或者一只蜥蜴，好不好？不要鳄鱼，太危险了！鳄鱼会把你吃掉的。

​

亚历克斯又踢又叫：“爸爸，我只想要鳄鱼！没有鳄鱼，我不高兴！”    爸爸很爱亚历克斯，于是给他买了一只鳄鱼。

​

爸爸说，“儿子，小心点，不要让鳄鱼把你吞了。”

     亚历克斯不听爸爸的话。看到他的宠物鳄鱼时，他径直跑过去，给鳄鱼一个大大的拥抱。
